What are the similarities between light burned magnesia powder and Magnesium Oxide?

Magnesia refractory raw material industry is a typical resource-based industry. Since China's reform and opening up in 1980s, due to the rapid increase in the demand for magnesia materials, the threshold of primary raw material processing access is low, resulting in serious damage to the rational development of magnesite. The first grade ore is in short supply, and the ore quality landslide leads to an average MgO content of magnesia more than 0.5%.

Therefore, in order to make rational and effective use of limited resources, we must conscientiously implement relevant laws and regulations and so on. We should further integrate the magnesite mine and old mine with more than 300 thousand tons of mining in the year, implement large-scale mining and intensive management, do well the detailed investigation of existing mining areas, design and mining according to mining, the key mines make up the arrears of rock stripping and extend the mine. Service life; popularizing mineral processing technology and comprehensive utilization of medium and low grade ores. At present, the related enterprises have gradually realized that only the raw materials produced by the original ore can not maintain the production of high quality raw materials. Only the primary ore is purified to produce the primary raw materials with high quality and ensure the normal production of raw materials. After the successful start of the flotation system of Haicheng magnesium mine, many enterprises have built the flotation project, other enterprises have also started to prepare. Meanwhile, the comprehensive utilization of flotation tailings is also in the study.

In the next 3 to 5 years, the promotion of magnesite flotation technology, the subsequent processing of high purity Mg (OH) 2 of the Tibet magnesium ore and Qinghai "Saline Lake magnesium" will provide the guarantee for the production of high quality raw materials for the production of magnesia in China.
